Job description
The Human Resource Assistant will support the daily operations of the Human Resources department by assisting with a wide range of HR activities. This role is responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with handling employee inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Responsibilities
Assist with updating HR policies and procedures as needed.
Assist in organizing employee training sessions and development programs.
Track training attendance and maintain records of completed courses.
Prepare and maintain HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, and employee engagement metrics.
Assist with audits and reporting for compliance purposes.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Maintain and update employee records, including personal details, job history, performance evaluations, and employment contracts.
Ensure all employee records are accurate, confidential, and compliant with legal requirements.
Assist in addressing employee concerns, and escalating issues to the HR Manager when necessary.
Timesheet maintenance
Benefits open enrollment assistance
Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (internships and relevant experience may be considered).
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Strong focus
Bilingual (preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe DF, and/or HR software.
Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
