INTERNSHIP
You will learn a variety of techniques and hone your abilities in the landscaping business through our internship program. We will provide you with a chance to develop, discover, and interact with our business in a professional setting. We will provide you with a hands-on, mentor-guided experience to elevate your understanding beyond the classroom.
Landscape Management
Majors: Landscape Management, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Design, Agricultural Business, or other related fields
This course will familiarize you with all aspects of managing personnel and client properties. We will assist you with enforcing management principles, handling dynamic scheduling, coping with environmental change, and leaving customers satisfied. In close collaboration with our field staff, you will learn fertilization, chemical, and irrigation strategies.
Landscape Construction
Majors: Landscape Construction, Horticulture, or other related fields
This course will familiarize you with various aspects of landscape construction as well as the commercial side of landscaping. You will install plants and trees, inlay concrete and pavers, and construct retaining walls. Every job is different when working in the field, so you’ll experience a variety of situations in a real-world setting.
Majors: Urban Forestry, Plant Science, Horticulture, or other related fields
This course will familiarize you with business operations and provide you the opportunity to utilize your education in developing the skills and methods necessary to be a successful tree care professional. You’ll gain experience in conducting tree evaluations, risk assessments, tree pruning or removal, stump grinding, brush cleanup, and chemical treatments. Additionally, you’ll expand your knowledge in the management of crews, estimating, and sales processes.
